Akademický program

( 3-5 years ) CREATIVE MOVEMENT 50 min

Attendance at this level is optional once or twice a week

The aim of teaching in this category is to support and develop a sense of movement, creativity and imagination.

It teaches children the basic rules of movement in a playful way.

We slowly introduce them to the basics of ballet terminology in a fun way.

We develop their perception of time, space, rhythm and music.

We teach them to get to know their own bodies better.

We try to develop their motor skills, strength, endurance, flexibility and, last but not least, we teach them to hold their bodies correctly.

All this is accompanied by an entertaining interpretation and rhythmic, often sung musical accompaniment.

(6-8 years) PRE-BALLET 60 min

Attendance at this level is optional once or twice a week

The goal of teaching in this category is to continue to consistently develop coordination, strength, and flexibility.

We emphasize the development of motor memory.

We combine many basic elements into small phrases and variations.

We also focus on introducing students to etiquette and behavior in ballet classes.

The structure of the classes and the musical accompaniment (mainly piano) are now closer to classical ballet training.

In this category, we also emphasize concentration and discipline.

Children will learn basic ballet positions and pole work.

The goal is to prepare students in all aspects for the study of demanding ballet technique.

CLASSICAL BALLET I (7+ years) 75 min

The age in this category is for informational purposes only. Children are placed and judged not only by their age, but also by their abilities and overall physical and mental maturity.

Compulsory attendance at this level is twice a week.

At this level, students learn the basics of classical ballet technique at the pole and later on the freestyle.

They will learn the French terminology that defines all ballet elements.

In addition to instilling basic ballet technique, we consistently continue to develop their flexibility and strength. We also improve their coordination, perception of movement in space, and musicality.

Students are now expected to fully concentrate on the elements being discussed.

CLASSICAL BALLET II (9+) 75 min

Age is only indicative. Children are included in this category based on demonstrable knowledge of the basics of ballet technique and their bodies are already ready to study more demanding ballet elements.

The school principal decides on promotion to this category in cooperation with individual teachers of the given grades at the end of the school year.

Students are also recommended to attend lower grades (free of charge) and improve and deepen their knowledge of the basics of ballet technique, or developing flexibility (BF classes), as well as modern dance classes.

The goal is to gradually introduce more challenging elements of classical ballet technique. All elements from the pole are transferred to freestyle.

CLASSICAL BALLET III (11+) 75 min

Age is only indicative, see above

See above for the procedure etc.

This level is attended by more advanced students and conservatory students who have mastered the basic ballet elements. They are mostly already very technically equipped.

The goal is to teach students how to work their bodies correctly and healthily. To deepen and hone classical dance technique.

In this category, high-end technique is also starting to be taught.

The goal is to master more demanding elements of ballet technique or repertoire thanks to stable and strong technique.

CLASSICAL BALLET IV (13+) 75 mins

At least three times a week or more

These are very advanced students with demonstrably strong technical proficiency and preparedness.

The goal is to deepen their technical and artistic skills.

Tip-top instruction may be included at the discretion of the teacher.

To be included in this group, a solid knowledge of all classical elements is necessary. The reason is, among other things, the fast pace and professionally structured class and teaching of classical variations.

CLASSICAL BALLET V (14+)

These are lessons for older students with basic to intermediate ballet technique.

Based on properly structured and professionally led lessons, students deepen their technical skills and shape their bodies and minds in a healthy way.

Attendance at least twice a week or more is recommended

CLASSICAL BALLET VI (15+)

These are lessons for students with advanced ballet technique.

Lessons are held at a faster pace and aim for technical and artistic virtuosity.

Lessons are usually held on tiptoes.

POINTS OF FORM

Bodyform is a unique method that helps to significantly improve the disposition and flexibility of dancers. The method was created by modifying the preparatory training of junior modern gymnastics representatives, contains about 50 exercises and is accompanied by regularly phrased music. The method is adapted to the preparation of classical dance training and is divided into six thematic areas:

  1. stretching and warm-up
  2. insteps and feet
  3. hip joint dislocation
  4. spine
  5. maximum to enormous flexibility (range of motion)
  6. jumps

The entire lesson is designed to evenly load all muscles, tendons, joints and spine. The method is very effective and extremely rewarding for professional dancers, but it can be recommended for dancers of all levels, especially beginners.

Based on an initial interview, we accept beginner students of all ages, who after completing a certain number of Bodyform lessons can be placed in a slightly advanced group according to age and skills.

We offer Bodyform for children and adults.

MODERN

In my contemporary dance classes, I integrate artistry, athleticism, and psychology to support the development of the whole dancer, where students bridge the gap between technical range and personal voice.

To cultivate artistry, I use Laban Movement Analysis and imagery-based techniques to transform set choreography into expressive, intentional movement. My approach to athleticism emphasizes body awareness and efficiency, utilizing floorwork and targeted conditioning to build stamina safely.

I empower students with the „muscle intelligence“ needed to take ownership of their physical growth and lifelong health.

To support the reflective mind, I foster a studio culture rooted in communication, curiosity, and collaborative feedback. I often use exaggeration as a tool, allowing dancers to physically recognize nuances and build autonomy in their learning.

By balancing these three pillars, I guide dancers to become both high-level athletes and articulate artistic thinkers. Ultimately, my goal is for every student to leave the studio believing in their unique creative potential.
