Ballet School for Children and Adults
The ballet school is open to both children and adults. Classical ballet students are divided according to age and skill level. More information can be found in the Academic Program section.
Sibling and family discounts are available. More information can be found in the Pricing section.
- Admission of children is based on an entrance interview or trial lesson, during which we emphasize personal contact between the child and the instructor, as well as familiarization with the ballet school environment.
- Classes are conducted in English, and knowledge of English is a prerequisite.
- Students must have insurance covering injuries for the entire duration of their attendance at the Ballet School.
- Tuition fees are paid based on an invoice. Tuition can also be paid in cash at the school reception.
- Parents or guardians will not be present during the classes. They may wait for the child at the ballet school reception during the lesson. At the end of each trimester, an open class or a small performance will be held for parents, family members, and friends.
- Students must wear the prescribed training attire and footwear. Detailed specifications regarding ballet clothing, hairstyle, and footwear will be provided during the admission interview.
- Lessons take place on designated days and times, regardless of Czech Republic school holidays, public holidays, and rest days.
- Any questions, concerns, or discussion topics cannot be addressed with teachers during class time. If any issues or questions arise, parents must contact the Ballet School management to arrange a meeting.
- Occasionally, based on demand and availability, optional supplementary classes may be offered, such as regular workshops, discussions with ballet professionals, rehearsals for group performances, dance-related film screenings, and more. These sessions will be announced in advance, and participation will be voluntary.
- Students are required to follow the instructions of their teachers.
- Students have the opportunity to attend lower-level classes free of charge.
- Cancellation Policy: Parents of enrolled students who have paid tuition and cancel their registration for a serious reason before the trimester begins will receive a refund, minus a 20% cancellation fee. After the trimester has started, tuition fees for that trimester are non-refundable. It is possible to recuperate missed lessons by attending classes in other appropriate grades.
Parents of registered children will be informed about interview dates via email or phone.
